Ayşegül Bozan

2005 yılında İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi'nde iletişim ve sosyoloji alanlarında lisans derecesi, ardından Paris Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü'nde -Ecoles des hautes etudes en sciences sociales- yine sosyoloji alanında mastır ve doktora derecesi aldı. Nilüfer Göle yönetiminde hazırladığı doktora tezinde Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi Gençlik Kolları'na üye gençlerin siyasal angajman deneyimlerini inceledi.

Gençlik ve siyaset, siyasal hafıza, sosyal hareketler ve demokratikleşme gibi konular üzerine çalışmaktadır.

In 2005, Ayşegül Bozan obtained her bachelor's degree in Communication and Sociology from Istanbul Bilgi University. Subsequently, she completed her master's and doctoral degrees in sociology at the Paris Social Sciences Institute (Ecoles des hautes etudes en sciences sociales). Her doctoral thesis, conducted under the supervision of Nilüfer Göle, focused on examining the political engagement experiences of young members of the Justice and Development Party Youth Branch.

Bozan conducts research on topics such as youth and politics, political memory, social movements, and democratization.
