Öndercan Muti

Dr. Öndercan Muti lisans derecesini 2009 yılında Yeditepe Üniversitesi Felsefe Bölümü'nden, yüksek lisans derecesini ise 2012 yılında Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Bölümü'nden aldı. 2021 yılında 'Memory in Motion: A Comparative Study on the Postmemories of the Armenian Genocide' başlıklı teziyle Humboldt Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü'nde doktorasını tamamladı. 2020-2022 yılları arasında La Red - Vernetzung und Integration Derneği'nde, Müslüman karşıtı ırkçılık üzerine "open mind – Transnational und community übergreifend gegen Islam- und Muslimfeindlichkeit" isimli bir gençlik projesi yürüttü. Halen Humboldt Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü'nde ders vermenin yanı sıra Max Planck Demografi Çalışmaları Enstitüsü'ne bağlı Population Europe programında çalışmaktadır.

Dr. Öndercan Muti earned his bachelor's degree in 2009 from the Philosophy Department at Yeditepe University and his master's degree in 2012 from the Sociology Department at Mimar Sinan University. In 2021, he completed his Ph.D. at Humboldt University's Institute of Social Sciences with a thesis titled 'Memory in Motion: A Comparative Study on the Postmemories of the Armenian Genocide.' Between 2020 and 2022, he led a youth project titled "open mind – Transnational und community übergreifend gegen Islam- und Muslimfeindlichkeit" on anti-Muslim racism at La Red - Vernetzung und Integration Association. Currently, he teaches at Humboldt University's Institute of Social Sciences and works at the Population Europe program affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research.
